The Barrie Construction Association (BCA) has shared some news and benefits in its weekly eletter.

Free access to BestBidz On Demand — with Invitation to Bid tools within the BestBidz electronics plan room “so you can send out invitations to subs and suppliers using the same interface – from your own contact list or using the
BestBidz On Demand Directory.
“Customizable email templates, document management and distribution capabilities, and activity tracking features help you ensure that you’re not left scrambling on bid closing day,” membership services co-ordinator Bryony Buchanan wrote in the membership newsletter, adding that members have full and unlimited access as part of general membership dues. MOL heavy equipment operation blitz
The Ministry of Labour is visiting construction sites in October and November to check for hazards related to operating or working around heavy equipment or vehicles that could result in injuries or death. See this information.
BCA scholarship program
The BCA awards a $500 scholarship each year to one student entering a post-secondary institution or construction trade apprenticeship. For details and to apply click here.
