Barrie Construction Association Report
Each year BCA members heat things up on the ice at our annual hockey tournament. For 14 years straight this sell-out event remains the most competitive day of the year. Ten teams face off and vie for the coveted BCA Cup.
Standings are updated and posted throughout the arena… so everyone knows which team is on top. This leads to an exciting ending for the tournament as the final scores are tallied. In the event of a tie, penalty minutes come into play as the team with the least amount of ‘infractions’ wins the trophy.
Although these teams take this tourney very seriously, and things can get quite scrappy out on the ice…it is all in good fun!
The champion team this year was LafargeHolcim.
