The Orillia and District Construction Association (ODCA) is seeking volunteers to work on the association’s 2017 community project, the Coldwater Canadiana Heritage Museum. The goal is to close in an existing shelter to protect the museum’s growing collection of vintage farm implements.
This project involves:
- The installation of exterior infill walls at the side and upper portion of the front wall of the building;
- four new lofts are to be constructed for light storage; and
- three roof spaces to be infilled with similar construction as existing roof.
The ODCA is donating an eight-hour day to support the work, on June 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
