RMCAO sets 55th annual convention in September at Muskoka resort

The Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario (RMCAO) is hosting its 55th Annual General Meeting and Convention Sept. 11 through 13 at the Muskoka Rosseau Resport & Spa in Minett.

Using a Halloween theme, the event promises “tricks to keep your business strong” and “treats to keep your employees at the top of their game.”

Guest speakers include Ontario General Contractors Association president Clive Thurston and Ontario Road Builders’ Association executive director Geoff Wilkinson.

Hamster Revolution author Mike Song will provide tips for reducing inbox overload, writing brilliant emails and working smarter through mobile devices.

Lou Schizas, a commentator with the “Happy Capitalism” segment on AM640 Toronto Radio, will examine mitigating the negative effects of economic conditions.

Registered dietician and sports nutritionist Jennifer Sygo will present helpful information about superfoods and supplements and tips for eating on the run.

Dr. Karyn Gordon, one of North America’s leading relationship experts will outline simple strategies for attracting and retaining exceptional young talent.

Events and activities include a golf tournament, a costume dance, the annual safety awards presentations and concrete canoe races, and the chair’s gala and reception.
