BCA spring 2014 golf tournament

Friday, June 6 – another spectacular day for the BCA at Bear Creek Golf Course, located just outside of Barrie in Utopia.

Thank you to Drew Moyer, Kathi Brow, the staff and the grounds crew of Bear Creek Golf Club who ensured that the course was in great shape and that everything ran smoothly.

We were honoured to have COCA president Ian Cunningham join the president’s team and the former MPP for Barrie, Rod Jackson, join us for dinner.

Many volunteers are required to co-ordinate the smooth running of the tourney. The Barrie Learning Centre and CRS – Contractors Rental Supply were kind enough to help us out.

Every year the tournament is sponsored by generous members. Dinner is sponsored by Chalmers Construction’s Lori, lunch and charity hole sponsor was Calow Benefit Partners.

The hole-in-one truck has been organized and sponsored every year by Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC. The putting contest was sponsored by GTA Construction Report. Golf balls were sponsored by Duivenvoorden Haulage, work gloves by BOT Aggregates and travel adaptors were from Labour Ready.

Numerous members sponsor the tournament each year through the support of the hole sponsor opportunity. These donations are greatly appreciated by your fellow members.

All of the charity hole proceeds were donated to The Barrie Learning Centre for Children with Dyslexia.
