The annual Orillia Explore the Trades event will be taking place at Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., says Orillia District Construction Association (ODCA) executive administrator Kat Warwick. The ODCA is partnering with the Orillia Manufacturers’ Association in the initiative, which brings together more than 300 Orillia area businesses and more than 1,500 local students considering a trade in the careers.
“Each year local businesses show their support by hosting an interactive exhibit at the event, and this year we want you to join us,” Warwick wrote in a note to ODCA members.
