Spring Golf Tournament

Once again Mother Nature gave us a brilliant day on Friday, June 9 for the BCA spring golf tournament at Bear Creek Golf Course, located just outside of Barrie in Utopia.

Thank you to Drew Moyer, Lauren Hill, the staff and the grounds crew of Bear Creek Golf Club who ensured the course was in great shape and that everything ran smoothly.

We were honoured to have Gord Wauchope, mayor of Innisfil, join us for the day.

Many volunteers are required to co-ordinate the smooth running of this tournament. This year Alicia Blow and Bryony Buchanan from the BCA, CRS – Contractors Rental Supply, Dozr Inc., Bobcat of Barrie and Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC were kind enough to help us out.

Every year the tournament is sponsored by generous members and this year was no exception. Thanks go to:

Lunch and Charity Hole sponsor – Calow Benefit Partners

The hole-in-one truck – organized and sponsored every year by Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC

Charity raffle and golf cart raffle – sponsored by CRS-Contractors Rental Supply

Excavator Hole-in-One – sponsored by Bobcat of Barrie

Refreshment Hole – sponsored by Dozr Inc.

Signature Orange Ball Contest – sponsored by The Sarjeant Company

Putting Contest – sponsored by GTA Construction Report

Golf balls – sponsored by Duivenvoorden Haulage

Numerous members sponsor the tournament each year as well through the support of the hole sponsor opportunity. These donations are greatly appreciated by your fellow members.
