The Barrie Construction Association is encouraging its members to raise money for Bg Brothers Big Sisters of Barrie through the Bowl for Kids Sake initiative.
There will be a “construction challenge” match with the home builders on March 28.
BCA executive director Alison Smith said in a note to members that the organization “is currently helping close to 400 little brothers and sisters through their Homework Club, Group Programs, In-School Mentoring Program and activities as well as matching the ‘littles’ up with their big brother or big sister.:
Members are encouraged to form teams, and to support the project — the BCA will recognize donations as low as $5.00. The organization offers seven free mentoring programs.
“If you would like to participate in the Construction Challenge (BCA vs. Home Builders) on March 28th just complete the attached registration form[gview file=”https://barrieconstructionnews.com/content/images/2018/01/bca-represented.pdf”],” Smith wrote. “Or please click on the link below to donate directly to this cause.”
“Kindly commit $5 (or more!) and we will proudly display your bowling ball at the BCA,” she wrote.
