Barrie Construction News special feature

Established in 2015 and headquartered in Barrie, Eagle Construction is a leading general contractor, construction management, project management, and design/build firm serving all of Ontario.

Since its founding, the company has built and completed more than 500,000 sq. ft. of renovations and new construction, including more than 20 acres of site servicing. The company has achieved $18 million in completed work, with $6 million of work in progress, and $5 million in future work.

Company president Kevin Reptke has perfected his 30 years of expertise in commercial renovations, meeting tight deadlines and budgets.

Reptke says Eagle construction started with interior renovations, and has grown to offer full client support from initial consultation in the early design stage, through pre-construction and bid phases, the construction phase to final close-out.

“We have a close working relationship with four major clients and work strictly on a referral basis, focusing mainly on commercial and civil construction,” he said. “Our projects range from renovations and tenant fit-out to complete green field projects.”

One of the company’s most challenging projects has been Kozlov Mall at 400 Bayfield St. in Barrie. “We are working closely with the tenants and mall staff to complete tenant relocation while continuing to have a fully active mall. By working closely with the tenants during the relocation process stores have been able to remain open with little to no down time.”

The team is also currently working on the design and construction of a four-storey medical office building at 2255 Markham Rd. in Scarborough that is expected to be complete July 2019.

Eagle Construction supports a full design build process, incorporating teams to manage each phase of work. “We provide project management for large and complex projects through general contracting for project specific requirements,” Reptke said.
