The BCA board of directors and staff are pleased to present you with our fourteenth annual BCA Magazine, your only official BCA publication.

Faced with the pandemic, BCA members navigated the shifting landscape effectively and demonstrated once again that construction will always be agile and flexible. All through the course of the past year and a half, members have demonstrated the capacity to rise to the challenges of the pandemic and respond with tremendously positive and effective ways to keep jobsites open, workplaces safe and our people healthy. For that I am proud and thankful.

Your team at the BCA has worked relentlessly in researching and providing timely, relevant information to help members remain compliant, productive, and moving forward. You only need to check your email inbox to be assured that the BCA is here to support YOU!

The value of your membership is unwavering. The association staff and board remain vigilant to meet the needs and advocate for members and our community.

With your support, we look forward to strengthening our existing resources, initiating new programs, and continuing to effectively serve our members.  Your staff and board are committed to working alongside the Council of Ontario Construction Associations to strengthen the Ontario skilled trades workforce and to provide a legislative landscape where the BCA membership can thrive. Your continued commitment is vital to our association, and we look forward to serving you in the coming year.

This magazine includes many interesting and informative articles about your association and its affiliates. The strength of the Barrie Construction Association is the active involvement and diversity of its members.

Feel free to contact me personally to discuss how the BCA can be of service to your company – I can be reached at 705-726-5864 ext 3 or at alisonsmith@barrieca.com.
