From its beginnings in Barrie in 1889 as a coal, wood, cements and building supplies company, The Sarjeant Co. Ltd., along with Custom Concrete Northern (Timmins), has grown to 14 locations, including the company’s pits and processing plants and to a range of services that include ready mix concrete, asphalt, fuel delivery and propane, lubes, land development and heating and cooling. The company has applied its expertise to the construction of Phoenix Building Components’ new 54,000 sq. ft. facility in Essa Township.
Doug Sutton, Sarjeant’s vice president sales and marketing of construction products, says his company provided a special mix for an exposed concrete polished floor that will be featured in the facility.
He says Bertram Construction and Phoenix Building Components are both excellent clients of The Sarjeant Company and his company is proud to be part of the project, and its success.
