Always a sell-out, the BCA Hockey Tournament is a great way for members to enjoy ‘friendly’ competition on ice. This year’s champion was the team from Leading Edge Earthworks.
Our Annual General Meeting was held at the Kenzington Burger Bar where members enjoyed great food, great company and some live entertainment. The group heard from a remarkable young man employed by BCA member Tacoma Engineers Inc. Ben Scott informed the group of his humanitarian mission to build a new conference and training centre in Ghana through his work with Engineering Ministries International. The BCA was privileged to be able to support Ben financially on his endeavour.
The Pub Night at Fionn McCool’s gave new and old members a chance to mingle and meet after a long winter. Breakfast tailgating and cheering for the Blue Jays was a fan favourite in spite of the 5-1 loss against the Yankees.
Our Christmas Gala is a chance to gussy up, enjoy a great meal and dance the night away. Always a popular event, many BCA member companies utilize this opportunity to thank their employees for their dedicated service throughout the year.
